|Shrimp, Asparagus and Penne Pasta

1 cup uncooked penne pasta
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 cups sliced asparagus, 1 inch, about 3/4 lb.
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 pound peel and de-veined medium shrimp
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
(1) 14- 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
1/4 cup pre-shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta; drain. While pasta is cooking, heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add asparagus, onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook 3 minutes. Add oregano, pepper and tomatoes. Cook over medium low heat 5 minutes or until throughly heated. Stir in cooked pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
